What are you made of? What were you made of? What changed? What is holding everything together? How much more weight can it or you bear? Is something missing or was it ever there? What does it mean to be unfinished? Is a steel fence inferior to a brick wall? When did the gaps in your fabric become flaws? Did you forget that a quilt is not a carpet? Does one remain like the cloth they were cut from? Or do the material properties dissipate? Are you fierce or fluid? Why? Do you want to be? Does fear of being ripped warrant removal of softness? Is vulnerability the everlasting point?
